You will also learn when to update plans, how to assess progress, and how to evaluate results to identify tasks that still need work.
The course covers the purpose and importance of business planning, biased self-perception, resources, capabilities and company culture, customer and supplier demands, competition, substitution and new entrants, politics, regulations and technology, short term vs long term thinking, the idea funnel and choosing initiatives, aligning opportunities with resources and capabilities, connecting strategy and execution, accountability, incentives and rewards, managing change, and monitoring execution and measuring progress.
