This course on "Influencing Others" will provide you with the awareness of how to influence others in the workplace, and the skills to begin doing more to exert your influence. Expanding your network, offering to help others, and becoming a better listener can increase your influence so you become the go-to for the people around you.
How do you influence others as a leader? Being an influential person isn't about being the loudest person in the room, but about being the one most able to relate to others. This course will educate you on what influence is and how it can be a positive and powerful force not just in your life, but in the lives around you. You'll learn tips on how to be a better influencer, like including others and building trust. You'll also learn the dynamics of the influencer relationship, and how it's not necessarily about what the influencer says or does, but how the message is received. Being an influencer — or, a person someone trusts and listens to — can have a significant impact on your career as you become a trusted leader in your field.
