Hello, my name is Nick Ogour, and in these lessons you will learn about Admin Center, User Management, Group Management, Security Controls, Account Colors, and Logo Settings, and other Account Settings. For the purposes of this training, we will be using a Smart Sheet Business Account. Enterprise Accounts will have additional features that may not be covered in this tutorial. To access Admin Center, click on the Account icon in the left ribbon and then select Admin Center. In doing so, the Smart Sheet Admin Center will open a new tab. Here you will see there are three main sections that include Tasks, Account Summary, and Settings. Within the Tasks section, you will find several boxes that indicate required actions and insights. License Requests is where any new requests for paid licenses to your account will appear. Recommended Steps Completed is where additional setup or security needs for your account will appear. Governance Controls are only available with Enterprise Accounts and assist you in managing data for your organization. Plan Insights are also only available for Enterprise Accounts and provide you with valuable insights into how your user base has grown over time. The Account Summary section has several boxes that show counts of your user base. License's remaining shows you how many licenses you have left to issue on your account, and it provides you the opportunity to buy more with a link. Next, you will find licensed and unlicensed users who are connected to your account, followed by Groups and Group Admins that you have set up. Lastly, you have System Administrators who have access to this page. In the Settings section, there are several boxes displayed with numerous settings in each one. Authentication is only for Enterprise Accounts and is used to restrict how users can access their license on your account. Under Security, the Business Account only provides published settings for how your Smart Sheet Work Products are viewable. Safe Sharing List is a setting available under Enterprise Accounts, where you can whitelist user or domain access when restrictions are set to restrict. Branding and Personalization allows you to change the account's colors, logo, and lock the branding for your licensed users. There are additional settings for Enterprise Plans to create custom screens visible to users such as the Welcome Screen, Help Screen, and License Request Screen. Account and Profile Visibility allows you to control how much profile information people are able to view for a licensed user. While working days and resources allows you to define working and non-working days such as holidays. Navigating with Admin Center is very simple. You can either click any of the links you see here, or you can click the triple bar or hamburger button in the top left corner to get to the navigation menu. Here you can see User Management, License Requests, Group Management, Plan Insights, Settings, and also Plan and Billing Info. Under User Management, you can see all users connected to your account, their Membership Status, what type of licensed user they are, how many groups they are connected to, any additional roles such as Group Owner or System Administrator, and also their last login date and time. You can also filter using the controls at the top of your screen and search for any users by name. To add a new user, simply click the Add User button, which will bring up a new pane where you can enter their first name, last name, email address, and select any roles you want them to have. Click Invite in the bottom right corner to send them an email that they'll need to accept. To manage an existing user, hover over their name and click the Pencil icon on the far right. This will bring up a similar pane where you can change their first name or last name or their roles. You can also add their profile information, view their group membership, enter any alternative emails here, or you can click the Ellipse button for more settings. Here you can transfer their own items or groups, you can view their group membership, you can download sheet access reports, you can reset their email and password, you can also remove from groups or sharing, you can deactivate the user or delete the user. If you delete them, you will be prompted to either transfer their own items or groups, that way there's no disconnect in data for other shared users. If you click the More Actions button, you can also import users through an XML file or generate a list of specific reports. In the navigation, the next page down is the License Requests. Here you can view any outstanding license requests that you have, you can also buy more, and you can simply grant a license or decline license for those who've requested. This has been an overview of Admin Center and User Management. Stay tuned for the next lesson where you will learn about group management. Thanks for watching!
