Respect is an important value in business, especially for the many companies that work in teams. Because we have coworkers who are different from us and may not share the same background or opinions, honoring differences plays a critical role in ensuring effective collaboration and teamwork. Part of learning about respectful behavior is learning more about yourself. We’ll help you build self-awareness so you can better manage your responses to challenging situations and be able to respect yourself and colleagues in a way that welcomes each person’s uniqueness.
In this course, you will explore how to build self-awareness and confront implicit biases. This course shares skills that can help guide the way you interact with others, whether they share your values or not. We will review inclusive active listening, empathy, addressing cognitive distortions, and mindfulness.
