This is Ali Green, and in this lesson we're gonna create an organization chart. Are also known as an org chart, and whenever we're talking about an org chart, the purpose of an org chart is to show the hierarchy and the structure within a company or an organization with the CEO. At the top, we also have our CFO, COO, directors of departments, other employees and also assistance. What we also wanna do is add pictures to our org chart once we're finished. So we're gonna come up to the top click on file and come down to new. Now, when we come down to new, what we'll notice is on the on the right, you have your organization chart. You have your organization chart wizard, which is the step-by-step process. We'll look at that a little bit later on. Right now, we want to click on the organization chart. If you happen to not see the organization chart here, you can scroll down and you'll see the organization chart at the bottom. Let's click on the org chart. And on the org chart, we have our US units blank page. So it's gonna be an inches. And we'll hit create. And at the top, for this particular template, you're gonna get a tab for the org chart, and be able to change the shape, and the layout of your org chart. Also on the left, we have our stencil for the org charts, and we have our org charts listed here. And let's start creating. So we wanna take the executive belt, and drag it to our page. Now, how do we create the structure, and add underneath? We would simply take our manager belt, we'll drag it and we'll let it go right on top, and that's gonna give us the manager right underneath, and we're gonna drag just two more of those. manager belt, drag it over. Manager belt again. Drag it over and let it go. And we have our structure of our managers underneath. And also, if we wanna just keep adding, we can drag our position belt over on the left, just like that. Drag another and drag another. Some other shapes we have are the assistant, the consultant belt, and any sort of vacancies you have in the organization. And also, if you wanna drag more than one position at a time, we have multiple shapes as well as three positions. Let's zoom in. We'll hold down control, and we'll scroll up on our mouse wheel, and we'll take a look. So we have our title and our name. So if we click on the title, we can simply type in CEO. And this is, our CEO is Albert. And we're gonna type in our CFO. And our CFO is Jill. We'll type in our COO. And our COO is Susan. And we'll type in our CTO. And our CTO is Bill. And we're gonna scroll down and finish the rest. We have our Director of Finance, as well as our Director of Marketing, and our Director of IT. This will be Dan, Jennifer and Karen. And if we wanted to add some pictures, we'll just add a few pictures. We'll click on our picture at the top, and we'll click on our org chart, and if you work your way over to the right, you'll see insert. We can insert a picture, and we're gonna navigate back to our KnowledgeCity folder, and we're gonna look for headshots within our KnowledgeCity folder. So we have our headshots and we can just add in our pictures, and we see the names at the bottom, and that'll become important later on. We'll click on Albert. We'll select our picture. Click on insert. And we have Jill. (button clicking) Susan. (button clicking) And Bill. (button clicking) Okay. Now, if we wanted to change the shape of our picture, we can come up to the top, hover over our shapes, and that's going to give us different shapes for our picture. And for our org chart. Circle. And we'll come back. Also if we wanted re-laid out particular parts of our org chart, so under the CFO, click on the CFO. Click on layout and change the layout. We'll also click on the CTO. Click on layout and change the layout. And that's just gonna work on the people that are under the CTO. And we can always just relay out. For space, we can also reduce the spacing, and increase the spacing so it gets kind of big. So again, reduce that spacing just a bit. Bring it all on one page. You can also select all, and drag right to the middle. So that's our org chart. We've created a org chart from scratch. We've dragged our shapes onto our page, and we've also added pictures. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
