Hello, in this particular lesson we're going to talk about the Home Screen. So as you can see here on my screen, I currently have Revit LT 2022 opened up and this is the default home screen that greets you when you first launch Revit. The screen is divided into two areas. The area on the left provides you access or you can open up your models. or you can create a new model. You can also open up your families or create new families. You also have the option to open up any recent files, as you've seen here, this is tagged. Or if you are a subscription content owner for BIM 360 or Autodesk Docs, you can access those cloud-based project files with the Autodesk Docs selection. On the right hand side, you're gonna get a more detailed information about your selected files. So for example, with recent files selected right here, if I was to hover my mouse over this icon, I see the saved path for this file, when it was last modified and it's file size. The same as if I was to do this for one of the family. If I was to hover over the link, it's gonna give me some information about it as well. If I wanted to open either of these models or families that I have recently had open, it's just a matter of clicking on one of them and Revit will immediately open up that file or that family. At the bottom, on the left hand side, you have access to additional resources, such as What's New, the Online Help, the Community Form and Customer Support. In the upper right hand corner, you have access to the Info bar where you have quick access to the help files. As well as any other item that you wanted to search for, you can search for it here, all without even opening up a model. If you have a Revit file open, you can click on the arrow at the top left over here to switch back to that model. This switches you back over to the Revit model that you had open. To go back to the Home tab, you click over on this button here or you can press the keyboard shortcut, Control D. Thanks for watching this lesson.
