Welcome to lesson four, Set Up Ad Campaign. In this lesson, I'll show you how to create and set up your first ad campaign. So let's get started. Under Manage Page, let's come down to Ad Center. Gonna click on Ad Center. And right now, let's go ahead and create an ad. So if I click on Create Ad, let's go ahead and do one from boosting a post. So we're gonna choose the goal. I want to boost the post. So here, I can just go through my suggested posts, and you can also let Facebook choose your best post. And in this case, it would be really not useful for us because we just started posting. But once you have some content in your new Facebook business page, then you might want to do this and let your best posts be the ones that you boost. But let's go through here, and let's say that I wanna boost the one about our grand opening. So I would just simply click Boost Post. And what are the results? We're gonna let Facebook basically choose the most relevant goal. We're gonna keep everything like it is. Welcome to our garden, our grand opening. We want people to send the message. So all of this is like we would like here. This is not a special ad category. We're going to leave it with the audience that we had designed earlier. And then, the days. I am gonna change the duration to just five days. And my total budget, I'm going to just put $5. So basically, I'll be spending $1 a day, and I'd be reaching approximately 28 to 90 people each day. And once I do that, I'll go ahead and click Boost Post Now. You'll see it's submitting our ads, so Facebook will have to approve the ad. This usually takes just a few minutes, especially if it's something relatively simple. Our ad is being created. Status is In Review. The goal is to get more messages. We have a total budget of $5. I already have my payment method on there. And automatically boost our best posts. Let's go to Ad Center and see if it has been approved yet. We can see right now that this is now in our Ad Center. It's gonna show us what ads are currently in review. So while we're doing that, we will create one more ad. So let's go ahead and create ad. And this time, let's go ahead and get more messages. So I'm gonna choose the goal to get more messages. Gonna leave everything set up like it is because I like this ad. Then, I could go on to create something new, you just need to change your headline, change your audience. And actually, I am gonna change my audience. I'm going to you go through to my general audience here, which just changed what I'd set up earlier. So 28 to 65 female. We're gonna say a total budget, again, of $5. And that will show how our ad would look on the desktop, on a mobile, our instant, our suggested videos, desktop marketplace, mobile marketplace, Facebook Stories, Facebook suggested video, marketplace search results, marketplace search results, general results, and Facebook suggested video. We'll close this. We'll go ahead and click Promote Now. It's submitting this ad. So basically, I've submitted two ads. Next, let's take a look at this in our Ads Manager. So if I go next to my tools and I click on the ellipse, we'll visit Ads Manager. And now, what you'll see are the two ads that I just created. Select Promoting Send Message and Post Welcome to our Garden. It tells us they're in review. It gives us our bid strategy, our budget, our attribution setting. All of this, of course, will populate as the ad begins to run. So you would have your reach, your impressions, your cost per result, the amount spend, when it ends. This is a report that you could download. So we could export this, and you could do it by ad, which is what I normally do. Like, I might go ahead and click on our ad here. I would wanna export that information, so I just go to Reports and export an ad, and that would export it. Again, we could choose either a CSV, so comma-separated value, or an Excel file. Thank you for watching. Stay tuned for our next lesson, where we will promote our new business page. So let's go check it out.
