Hi. In this lesson, we want to explore some of the pre built reports that come with Microsoft project. Now, a few things to notice is that my project currently does have a few tasks that have started to be completed. So the project has begun. And to access the reports in project, we're going to go to the report ribbon. This ribbon is all about using the built in reports, dashboards and even creating your own reports. When it comes to prepared reports, you'll see that there is a report group on this ribbon called View reports. And there are different types of reports that you can view reports, again around resources, costs, the progression of tasks, and even getting started reports. So what we're going to do is come over to, first of all, the resources category and come in and select resource overview. This is a great report to just see what the status of certain resources is, and you'll notice that it includes multiple charts in it and also information about what different resources are doing. Another great one if we go back to the report tab, and again, these are built in and come with project is going to be the in progress category. And here you can come in, for example, and get a report about critical tasks. These are tasks that have to be completed in time for your project to make its completion date. You can see here that this will help to give you access to what tasks project currently considers to be critical. And all this is being accessed from the report ribbon. Another one that you can also see that's specific to tasks is a category called task boards. When you come here, you'll see that there are different reports that can be run around. Again, task status. And also, if you're working in sprints, there are reports here around that topic. So for example, task status. This lets me see, for example right here, what tasks are currently not started. And because this project just started, you'll see here that there's quite a few because the project is really just getting started. But again, the benefit of all of these reports is that they're really single click once you're in a the reports ribbon. Thanks so much for watching. In the next section, we're going to look at how you can create dashboards using the report with ribbon. Stay tuned.
