When working with WordPress, you will sometimes find that you need to transfer content to or from another website. WordPress has a built-in exporter that will generate a properly formatted XML file that you can then import into other WordPress websites. You can also install a WordPress importer to import those XML files into other websites.
Comments are enabled by default in WordPress, and if you plan to allow users to comment on your content, it’s important to know how to manage those comments. You can use several built-in settings and management tools to do that.
Once you get started with WordPress, you will soon discover that the developer community releases software updates on a regular basis. It’s important to know how to properly run those updates to help keep your WordPress website secure by running the latest code.
