This series explores practical strategies to maintain positive well-being in challenging times, focusing on the impact of stress on overall mental health and providing tools to help manage stress.
The course covers 'Doing' strategies (including longer-term ones), 'Thinking' strategies such as goal setting and reframing, 'Feeling' strategies, and building a morning routine.
You will be able to recognize how stress affects your mental health, evaluate your own stress response, identify a framework for managing your thoughts, demonstrate techniques to regulate your stress response, and compose a toolkit to help you manage stressors.
It helps develop skills in stress management, mental health, mindfulness-based stress reduction, positive discipline, and psychological health.
It is a series of lessons covering topics such as What is Mental Health?, What is Stress?, The Stress Response, evaluating your stress level, the health risks of stress, and various coping strategies, with 'Test Your Knowledge' checkpoints and a concluding lesson.
