Hello, my name is Katie Lehman, and in these lessons you will learn how to sign in and access OneDrive, how to navigate the browser interface and update settings, and how to determine the differences between the business and personal OneDrive plans. In this lesson, I will show you how to sign in and access OneDrive. There are multiple ways to access OneDrive. One of them is directly from your Microsoft 365 dashboard, which is located at office .com. Sign in and check to see if you have the OneDrive app on the left -hand side of your screen. As I'm searching, I don't see the app, so I'll click on Apps. Looking across the top, you will see the various apps for Microsoft 365, including OneDrive. Select the OneDrive app, and it takes you directly in to see your files, your shared files, and favorites. That is one way to log in to OneDrive. Another way is to add a pinned icon to your taskbar. So on your desktop or laptop, type in OneDrive. Next, select Pin to Taskbar. You will see a new icon at the bottom of my screen, and you may click that to directly go in to your OneDrive. Another way to log in to OneDrive is to simply type www . onedrive .com. This takes you to the main page of OneDrive. If you haven't set it up already, create your free account with this button, which will guide you through a set of menus to get your free account of personal cloud storage. You may also do a business account by clicking on See Plans and Pricing to select a business account that you will use with MyTeams through Microsoft 365. If you already have a OneDrive account, click Sign In, and you can simply sign in right here to go directly to your OneDrive account. Those are the main ways to sign in using a desktop or laptop. The last way to sign in is if you have a mobile device or mobile phone. If you download the OneDrive app, make sure it's a Microsoft 365 OneDrive, and you will be able to sign in and check on your files and work on files directly from your phone or from a mobile device. So it's a nice flexible way to be able to access your files and share with others from any location, whether you're on your laptop or you're traveling, or you simply just have your phone with you and you want to look at that app and be able to update information right there. This is a preview of what the app looks like on your phone. You can have folders, your personal vault, and all of your files are accessible from this app. You can look at the recent files that you've opened, the shared files, photos, and update your account information all right here on your phone. Stay tuned for the next lesson where I will show you how to navigate the browser interface and update settings. Thanks for watching!
