You. Hello. This is Ollie Green and this is Microsoft 365 Visio Intermediate 2023. In this lesson, we're going to create a process Flowchart to use the text. So we want to demonstrate how text is useful within our Flowchart. Text is just as important as pictures and graphics within our Flowchart. Let's get started. So we'll choose our Flowchart template. That'S. Going to open up another tab at the top. And when we have our flowchart template. Open, we'll come over to the left and we have our shapes. And we have our flowchart shapes. So our process decision sub process. As we said before, text is just. As important as our pictures. So the easiest way to put in. Text is to simply drag a shape. Over and start typing. So our first shape is our start and end shape. We're going to grab our start net, which is the way we begin all of our process. We're going to hover over the arrow and it's going to show us the. First five shapes that are available at the top of our list. We're going to choose our process. We're going to hover again, choose another process, hover again, choose another process. Okay, so we've chosen four shapes in total. Let's zoom in. So at the bottom, we'll hit the. Plus sign and we'll zoom in and. We'Ll scroll up to our shape. And we want to add some text. And the simplest, easiest way to add text is just to start typing. We're going to report hiring need. We can also select our second shape, record hiring need, or record our hiring request. We'll prepare our job description and we'll advertise the position. Now, with all of our shapes and our text entered into our shapes, we. Want to change the font style and the font size. So we come over to the left. And we select all of our shapes. We can come up to the top. Under Home and we'll see that we have our font style as well as our font size. So with the font size, we'll click the drop down and we'll switch to twelve. And that's going to increase the font size. We can also change the font And bold that text, even hover at. The edge and make it slightly larger. And we can also come up to. The top and change our color, as well as change the background color of the text. So we've dragged our shapes onto our page and we know we can simply select our shape and type within the shape. We can also add a title at. The top as well. So if we come on over to. Home and we'll click on the text. Box, we'll create a text box and we'll call this one Hiring Process Walkthrough. And with this text, just like in our shapes, we can simply select it. Turn on the boat, change the size. Change the font. And as well as change color. So in review, we've created a new template. We've added our flowchart shapes to our page.
