Hello, this is Ollie Green, and in this lesson, we're going to create a process flow chart. And also, we're going to add our shapes panel on the left. Let's get started. So when we first start out in Visio, we haven't chosen a template just yet. So we're going to come up to the top, and we're looking at our blank drawing, all templates, and we also have our flow chart template. Let's click on our flow chart template. And that's going to open up a tab at the top, and it just takes a few seconds to load up. And we have our Visio template. So right now in our page is set to portrait, we're going to set it to landscape. So we'll come up to the top of our Microsoft Visio 365, we'll click on design, and we'll work our way over to the left. We'll click on orientation, and we'll click on landscape. So that's going to turn our page around. And further to the left, we have our shapes panel. And all the way to left, you have your basic flow chart shapes, and you also have a plus on add shapes. So you have process, decision, sub-process, and start and end. Now with our process chart, we always start with the start and end. We're going to grab our start and end shape over to the right. And if we hold down control, and we scroll up on our mouse wheel, we can zoom in slightly. We can let go of control, and we can scroll up. And if we hover on our shape, we have our four-way arrows, which is going to give us the top five shapes. So we'll hover, and we'll select our process, hover again, select your process, hover again, and select your process. So we'll hold control, and we'll zoom out slightly, grab our scroll bar, come on over to the right, and we'll hover on our down arrow, and we'll add in our document, which is our resume, our CV, if we're not in America. So we'll scroll down slightly, and we'll drag over another process, another process, and another process. We'll drag those shapes over, and we want to make a connection to the bottom. So we'll hover, we'll drag from the right, and to the right of our shape at the bottom. We'll make our connection. We'll also hover on our green circles, and we'll make our connection from one to the other. One to the other, and finally, we'll come over to our last shape, and we'll hover on the right arrow, and we'll select our end shapes. We'll select our end shape. So we have our start shape at the top, and we have our end shape at the bottom. So we'll hold down control, we'll scroll out, we'll take a look at our diagram, and if we hover at the edge of our diagram, we'll draw a selection around it, and we'll drag it slightly to the middle. And this is our diagram for hiring a candidate. So really quick, we'll scroll up, we'll zoom in, we'll select, and we'll report our hiring need, and we'll come down to the bottom, and we'll deselect. And again, we'll hold down control, and we'll scroll out. So now, what if you wanted to add some more shapes to your diagram? If you come over to the left, you'll see that we have our basic flowchart shapes. That's already selected with the template, we'll come on down one, and we have add shapes. Now when we click on add shapes, this is going to give us our shapes panels from other diagrams. So we have our blocks raised, we have our call outs, and we have our blocks. Now we also have our icons, so the icons are going to be very helpful. So we have education icons, medical icons, we're going to click on the education icons and simply hit add. And that's going to add our education icons to the left, and we'll select, we'll get all of our education icons and everything that's associated with education. So from here, we could probably use the clock for work, we'll drag our clock over, and again, we'll come on over to the left, we'll hit the plus sign to add shapes and we'll scroll through. Now let's say that we don't find the shapes that we're looking for at the top, we have search for shapes, we'll click, we'll type in business, we'll press enter. So all of our business icons will show up on the right, and we'll select a business icon. So let's say if we wanted to select our briefcase, we'll drag our briefcase to our page. So here's our briefcase on our page, and again, we've selected our business icon and everything that's associated with business, and we can preview our business icon. So these are all of our business icons, and we'll hit add in the event that we want to add more. So now we have our basic flow chart, education icons, business icons, and if we come on over to our page and we hold down control, we can again scroll out slightly, come back over to our business icons, and drag over a few more. So let's drag over to the boardroom, and let's also drag over employee. So these infographics will enhance our drawing and convey our message a little bit better. So again, if we hold down control, we scroll out, we'll be able to see the entire picture. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
