Hello, this is Ali Green and in this lesson we're going to visualize our data using our pivot diagram. And our pivot diagram will allow us to summarize, aggregate and visualize a list of data. Let's get started. So right now we're in Excel and we're viewing our file which will be found in your Knowledge City Visio advance folder, your pivot diagram data. And we have our regions and we have our products, our cells our discount, our date, our city, country of origin. So we have this long database and we wanna visualize and summarize this data in Visio. So let's come to Visio, and in Visio we're gonna navigate to our Knowledge City folder. So we'll come up the file at the top come down to open and click on browse. And we're in our Knowledge City folder. And we're going to review our pivot diagram. So we're gonna look for our file review, a pivot diagram, and let's hit open. And all of that data we've saw in Excel we now see visualized in Visio. So if we zoom in, we'll hold down Control and we'll scroll up on our mouse wheel. And we have our aggregated total as well as our discount broken down into our regions. So underneath you have your regions, your central your east, your north, south, and your west. Further down we have our cities that are connected and our regions are our offices and the cities are the accounts that they handle. So we have our Buenos Aires, our Madrid, Medicine Hat, Nairobi, and Rome. So these are all of the cities that are connected to that data. So if we scroll over a little bit more we have our East, cities scroll over more. We have our north, we have our cities and south, we have our cities. Over on the left we have our pivot diagram where we have our region, product, our date, and our city. We have our cells and our discount. And those numbers are showing up here. Now at the top on our ribbon we're gonna come on over to pivot diagram and we can refresh the data at any time. We can also apply shapes to our data as well as edit our data graphics. So if we zoom out just a bit and we select our shapes, come up to apply shape and our apply shape is going to take just a second and we're actually able to apply a picture next to our shape. So let's say if we click on sales and we hit okay and we have a picture connected which extends the page over, which is okay we just want to view our data and we place the shape next to each shape. And at the top you can also choose relay out your visualization. You can also choose the direction. So top to bottom, bottom the top, left to right. You can also control the alignment as well as move our shapes to the right, to the left and collapse. We can also turn off and on our shapes window and our pivot diagram window that can easily turn off and on and we can easily turn off and on our title, we have our title at the top. Can easily turn that off, turn that back on. Also, if there is a data legend, we can add that in there. And there's a breakdown of shapes we can show and hide that as well. So we've taken a large amount of data and we've visualize that data in Visio using our pivot diagrams. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you in the next lesson.
