Hello, this is Ali Green, and in this lesson, we're going to create a customized template that we can use again and again. Let's get started. So we'll come up to file at the top, come down to new. And we presently have all of our different templates we can choose from. We're gonna work our way over to the right and choose our basic flow chart. Now, if you don't see the basic flow chart on the right you can easily come down to the office and simply do a search for it. More than likely, you'll see it, but we can always do a search for it. Let's click on our basic flow chart and we'll leave it on US units. And right now, we have our template. So we wanna save this template because we want to customize it with various stencils. So we wanna add other stencils and also add our own stencils. So we're gonna add our own stencil. We'll come up to more shapes. We'll come down to open stencil. And we'll navigate to our Knowledge City Visio Advanced folder, where we're gonna see My Custom Stencil and we'll hit open. So we've added our custom stencil. We're gonna come up to more shapes, and we're also gonna come down to general and basic shapes. So this is another stencil that we can add. Now, of course, if there's any modifications to the page we can make those. So let's say right now, we have our page one. We're gonna hit the plus sign, and we wanna start with two pages. And maybe we want to name this page Front and click on the second page, and this one, Back, for whatever reason. We've modified our page names. And we'll come up to the top. Click on design. And under size, we're gonna switch the size of this page to legal. We now have a legal size. We wanna save this template. Come up to file at the top, come down to save as, and click on browse. And we are going to navigate to our Knowledge City folder, Visio Advanced. So wherever our Knowledge City folder, Visio Advanced student files are on our computer, we're gonna go there, put in our initials, put in our initials, and call this one My Custom Template. And at the bottom where it says "Save as type," click the dropdown, and we'll choose Visio template. And we'll save this Visio template in this folder. So let's hit save. And now we have our custom template. We wanna open up this custom template. So we'll come up to file at the top and we'll come down to close. Let's come up to file again, new. And we may not see our template listed. That's okay, we'll scroll down and we still don't see our template. Of course, we can always click on show more templates not listed, click on categories, scroll down, and we'll see new from existing. So no matter where we save our template on our computer we can always navigate to it. So new from existing. Click on that, click on create. And we'll navigate to our Knowledge City folder. And we'll look for our custom template. Let's click on the custom template and create new. So on our template we have our basic shapes, our customized stencil, and we also have the sizing that we chose, and we also have our Front and our Back pages. And we can simply just drag our shapes to our page and start creating. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
