Hello, this is Ali Green. And in this lesson, we're going to insert a graphic into our diagram. And our graphics are going to make our diagrams a little more attractive to view and also more interesting overall. Now, whenever we're talking about inserting graphics, we know, of course, we're talking about JPEGs, PNGs, GIFs. Any of these file formats can be inserted into our Visio. Let's come on up to the top. Click on Insert. Now, we're talking about the hiring process, so we want to just apply a few pictures that are in reference to our resumes and also being hired. And we have those within our folder. So we're on Insert, we're going to work our way over to the left, and you have Pictures. Let's click on Pictures. And let's click on Pictures. And that should bring us back into our Knowledge City folder. And within our Knowledge City folder, we have a few different pictures. Of a Smiling Candidate. We have our Resumes, Resume Clipart, and Resume Clipart here as well. Let's go for our Resumes, which is a PNG. Also at the bottom, under All Pictures, if you take a look at your list, these are all of the pictures that are allowed. We're going to click on Resumes and hit Open. So here's our Resume. This is a PNG, so it has a transparent background. We're going to grab our PNG to the top. Make it smaller. And we want to put it in the background. So we're going to select it. Come over to Picture Format, which is a contextual tab. It doesn't come up unless we have a picture selected. Come over to Send to Back. So we send that picture all the way back. We also want to apply a shadow. Let's click on Home. Effects, Shadow. And we've applied a shadow to that picture. Let's bring in another picture. I go to Insert. And Pictures. And we're back in our Knowledge City folder. Let's click on our Smiling Candidate. We'll hit Open. And we'll drag our picture to the lower right-hand corner. Make that picture a little bit bigger. And under our Picture Format, we can click on the Line, and apply a line around that picture. We'll click on black. We'll click on Line again, and we'll change the line weight to about 3. And there's our picture. Let's grab another one. Insert. Pictures, and Picture. And we'll click on our Resume Clipart in the corner. Hit Open. Drag it down to the lower right-hand corner. And we're going to grab our little nodes and resize that picture. Alrighty. One more picture. Insert. Pictures, and Pictures. And let's navigate to our other Resume Clipart. And we're going to hit Open. And we'll drag this one to the top. We'll resize by the node. We'll click on Home. Our picture's still selected, we're going to come over to Send to Back. And that's going to put the picture in the back. What we're also going to do is add a shadow effect. An outline with a line. A black line. And let's deselect. So this is how we would put graphics into our diagrams. Most graphics will be an acceptable file format in Visio. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
