Hello, this is Ollie Green, and in this lesson, we're gonna explore our Task Pane Windows. At the top, we're gonna come on over to View, and if you come a little bit over to the left, you'll see the Task Panes. Now, of course, because we don't have a file open, we can't really access our Task Pane, so everything's disabled. So let's open up a file. Come on over to File to the left, come on down to Open, and we're gonna navigate to our KnowledgeCity folder. Come down to Browse, and in our KnowledgeCity folder we're gonna scroll down, and we're gonna open Exploring our Task Pane Windows. Let's click on that, and let's hit Open. And we've opened up our hiring process. So we've opened up our Human Resources: Hiring A Candidate Process. At the bottom we have our Flowchart. So we're gonna select our Flowchart, come on over to View, and work your way over to Task Panes. Now under Task Panes, we can show and hide various windows. So we have our Shapes panel, which is on the left. Click on your Shapes Panel, and our Shapes Panel will completely disappear. Click on our Task Panes again, and that's gonna bring the Shapes Panels back. And, again, we can hover at the edge to resize the Shapes Panels if need be. Click on your Task Panes once again, and click on Shape Data. And under your Shape Data, is where our metadata fields are hidden. So if we click on a shape, we'll get our metadata fields, a Cost, Process, Owner, and other fields that are associated. We'll click, and we'll get all of that data under our Shape Data. We'll hit the X and we'll close, come back up to the top, you'll get your Tasks Panes, come on down to your Pan & Zoom. And with Pan & Zoom, we can zoom in and zoom out on various parts of our drawing. So if you come over to the right, and we'll grab this little square up, and we're gonna zoom in. So anything inside of this rectangle is what we see on screen. Now if you hover at the edge of the rectangle, you can drag and view our shapes in detail. So that's where the Pan & Zoom is pretty helpful. We can also hover at the edge and increase the size of that rectangle, and that's gonna make that rectangle big, and we're able to see the entire page once again. Let's hit the X next to Pan & Zoom, and come up to Task Panes once again, and come down to Size & Position. Click on Size & Position. We'll get the position of each of our shapes. So if we click on our Report a Hiring Need, at the bottom we have the X, and that's gonna show us the position on the ruler. So if we hover in the middle and drag our shape over to the right, that X position changes. Now the Y position is the up and down ruler. So we'll hover, look for the four-way black arrows, drag down, and that's gonna change the Y position on our ruler. We can also change the width. So if we grab at the edge, make this a little bit larger, the width is gonna change. And, also, if we drag the height, the height will change as well. And the angle, you'll see a circle that's above your shape. If you drag, the angle's gonna change as well. And our Pin Position will be our point of reference, which is in the center. So when we rotate, we're gonna rotate from the center. Come over to Task, click on Navigation, and we see all of our shapes that are connected to our drawings. And we can actually just close the Size & Position. Hit the X. All right, so every shape that we've dragged to our page will be listed here. And if you wanted to navigate your connectors as well as your shapes, this is where this area comes in handy. And let's come up to the top, and click on Diagram Navigation, and we'll close that. So in review, we've talked about our Shapes and our Task Pane. So Shapes, Shape Data, Pan & Zoom, Size & Position, and the Navigation. Also, really quick, if you wanted to do a shortcut zoom in. If you hold down your control key and you scroll up on your mouse wheel, this is gonna be a quick easy way to zoom in. While holding control, we'll scroll down on the middle of our mouse, which is our mouse wheel, and we can zoom out as well. So we can zoom in and zoom out. So we'll let control go. Let that scroll wheel go. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you in the next lesson.
