Microsoft Visio is software application made for creating a variety of diagrams. These include flowcharts, org charts, building plans, floor plans, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, business process modeling, swim lane diagrams, 3D maps, and many more.

This course is for the users who are already confident in creating a variety of drawings in Microsoft Visio and are ready to take on advanced topics. In this course, users will deepen their advanced skills in the application by becoming knowledgeable of functionalities like applying shape data, utilizing advanced shape styles, adding 3Dshapes to drawings, and applying master background pages. This course also teaches users to create their own custom stencils and build and save master shapes. Users will also create and save their own custom Visio templates and create new drawings based on those templates.

The course also focuses on properly using the Visio print screen to control printing and how to export Visio drawings in different formats like AutoCAD and graphic formats. Users will also build drawings based on other files types like Pivot Diagrams from Excel data, and Timeline and Gantt Charts from Microsoft Project. Users will also create Excel charts in a Visio drawing and learn about accessing Visio from inside Microsoft Teams.
