In this lesson titled about Google slides, I will provide a brief overview of Google slides and show you how to use the help feature. Google slides is a free web based application created by Google, used to create a slideshow presentation with integrated text, graphics and sounds. There are many benefits for using Google slides. It's simple, it's not overly complicated to learn. You can use it to create powerful presentations, to present information visually to a group. You can use it to make presentations for your work, school or community. It's also easy to collaborate and share. To use Google slides, you have to have a Google account. So if you don't have one, you need to go ahead and create one. When you log into your account to open Google slides, you click the Google apps icon here, and you scroll down and you find Google slides. Once you find Google slides, you click it and then you click create a new presentation here. Google slides is unique because you have online and offline access. So if you wanna make it available offline, you just click file, make available offline. You can also download your file. Also, you can access Google slides from anywhere. If you have a mobile phone, mobile device, you can download the Google slides app. Now we're gonna talk about the help topics. Use the help and down here, you have lots of things you can use. There's also keyboard shortcuts, and you can search the keyboard shortcuts. And these are just key combinations to quickly complete a command. Also on the help feature, if you want to look up something, and you're not sure where it is, you just type it in the search bar. Like say you wanna change the background of your slide and you forgot how, if you type it here and press enter, it automatically finds it in the menu bar and opens it up so you don't have to go search for it.
