Engaged employees work for more than a paycheck. They care about their work and believe that their efforts make an important contribution to their company’s performance. Employees who are engaged with the company feel a personal attachment and passion for it. Employees engaged with the job itself value and enjoy the tasks they complete for it. We know that employee engagement means having employees who are committed and excited about their jobs, but what factors create employee engagement, and why are some employees more engaged than others?
In this course, we will introduce the topic of workplace engagement by discussing what exactly makes work meaningful for employees. We’ll discuss how to create and interpret surveys in order to develop strategies for stronger employee engagement. We’ll also go over the benefits of engaged employees and why a company would want to consider creating an employee engagement plan. Then we’ll cover what rewards and incentives your employees may be looking for, as well as how to implement them into your strategy.
