This course discusses the many aspects of identity, so you can consider how you lead your diverse workforce with equity. We take time to learn about many important ways diversity appears at work, as well as ways the workplace poses unique challenges for employees. As you discover the best practices for fostering an inclusive and equitable environment, you can invite your teams to bring their diverse talents to the workplace.
Being fair to your employees doesn’t always mean treating everyone the same. You’ll know how you can invite your workers to express their gender identity in safe and compassionate spaces. We’ll talk about what it means to be there for people who are parents. You’ll sharpen your awareness of racial and cultural differences, so your workplace can be respectful. We detail common issues older adults face, as well as how to employ them with equity. You’ll be able to determine the most effective ways to connect with and protect employees with diverse sexual orientations. And you’ll be ready to make impactful accommodations for people with disabilities. We’ll help you ensure the most vulnerable identities in your company can come to work knowing they’ll be supported. Together, we can show you how to create equitable conditions that will bring out the best in your workforce.
