A UX Designer creates products and websites that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. The user’s interaction with and opinion of your site is that user’s experience. Providing the best user experience involves acquiring and integrating the product, including branding, design, usability, and function.
This course introduces you to the concept of User Experience (UX) Design. You will learn that a user’s individual experience is his or her conscious opinion of your application, website, or product. You will discover the recipe for UX design and discuss the user perspective. You will also see that psychology, usability, design, copyright, and analysis play important roles in the UX design process. You’ll recognize the importance of being able to answer user questions such as, “What is it?”, “What’s in it for me (WIFM)?”, and “What do I do?”. You will distinguish between UX and UI design and learn about the responsibilities of each role.
