Hello. My name is Stephen Steinbach. In these lessons, I want to show you what's new in Adobe Illustrator 2023. So the first new tool is the Intertwine Tool. And this comes in really handy when. You want to do something like this, like a weave pattern. This is in front of this, and then it's behind. This was fairly difficult to do because. You had to use multiple objects on. Multiple layers to get this sort of effect. So let me just delete this and. Show you how I did this. So just going to do that, and. I'm just going to bend it a little bit. So going to use the Curvature Tool. To just take it and bend it. Down a little bit. And just give it kind of a weave pattern. And now with the Black arrow tool, I will just select this down and just create this a couple of times. And if I want to get this. Evenly distributed, I can do that by selecting all these. Let's go to the windows, go to align, and then we're going to vertical distribute space. Okay. So I will select all of these, and I'm going to hold the Alt key and move it. And then with the Shift key, I. Will snap it this way and bring it here. So you can see currently, these are all on top. But I want to be able to. Intertwine these with a Black Arrow tool. I'm going to select them all. Object intertwine make. Okay, once that's selected, all we have. To do is zoom in here, and. Anyone that we want to come backwards, we just with the Intertwined tool, we just circle around it, and it will snap around. That's it. So that one I want to do. This one, this one. And be careful. You have to go all the way around. And there you go. So we select off of it. And now if we wanted to change this back to the white again, we can just select all those and just do the white stroke. In the next lesson, I want to look at the new Quick Actions. Quick actions in Adobe illustrate. 2023. Thanks for watching. Bye.
