In these lessons, you will discover how to navigate the basic interface of Adobe Illustrator 2023. This includes how to move, rotate, and zoom in the viewport, as well as how to switch between Illustrator’s workspaces. You will also discover how to open and save files and how to customize workspaces and toolbars.
At the beginning of this course, you will look at Adobe Illustrator's homepage menu. You will learn how to navigate the homepage and create custom workspaces, including expanding tabs and menus for customization of the interface. You will learn how to save your workspace, as well as manage new workspaces and toolbars. We’ll explore how to hide unwanted tools, create custom tools, and save those new tools for better viewport management. You will learn how to use the zoom tool and how to pan the viewport using hotkey shortcuts. Finally, you will explore different navigation shortcuts between CPU and GPU computer processors.
