In these lessons, you will create 3D effects using various techniques in Adobe Illustrator 2023, including the drop shadow effect, extrude and bevel effect, revolve effect, and inflate effect.
These new effects tools integrate vector 2D graphics with 3D elements. We will begin by looking at the drop shadow effect. This effect is a quick way to get a realistic shadow on any given shape or object. Next, we will explore using the extrude and bevel effects, which offer a new and interesting way to create 3D graphics in Adobe Illustrator. You will also look at the revolve effect and the inflate effect, which can also be used to create 3D graphics. Later in this course, we will explore rendering techniques and add lighting to the 3D elements, as well as create materials for a final render.
