Course Description

In this module we investigate a few of the multitude of programming languages, servers, and technologies that constitute what is called, “back-end web technology.” This includes an initial discussion of how a website may use another server for database access or remote file access and how each technology that the designer uses requires an appropriate programming language. We also discuss a few software suites that programmers may use to ease the burden of complex programming over the web.
