Hello, in today's lesson, we'll examine the features of the essential sound panel in Premier Pro, the essential sound panel will help you make audio enhancements quickly and easily. I've activated the audio workspace, which reveals the essential sound panel at the right. My first audio track is a dialogue track. So I'll click on that icon to reveal the adjustments for that type of audio track in the essential sound panel. First, there were a number of presets that can be selected. I've chosen balanced male voice since it's a male speaker. Several things are selected, loudness, repair, clarity, dynamics, EQ or equalization, and enhanced speech. The preset select several of these for me, the subtle boost male and the hot, low tone. And you could see there's that adjustment in the equalization, which is just these frequencies. So let's play it through. Two years into the process, the Connecticut came out with a grant program. And then if I were to turn it off by clearing the audio type. Playing that through. Two years into the process. So that's off and here, we'll put it back on. Connecticut came out with a grant program. It adds a little more depth to it. In general, these presets work pretty well. And of course you can customize it as needed, and then save those adjustments as a new preset if desired. Adding a music track, as I have here, will require balancing against the dialogue track with a lowered volume during speech and increased volume during silent patches known as ducking. Here again, I would begin with a preset, check it against my current mix and make further adjustments as needed. So I'll click on that track, go to music as my option. Right here, duck against dialogue, and play that. And two years in the process the Connecticut... There it is on. If I clear it out. Two years in the process the -- Music is a little bit louder it's not ducking down. I also have sound effects track. There's a setting for that as well. All I'm going to do is choose from outside since it's shot outside and I'll play through the sound. We started off as growers. We... So that's the birds. And I also finally have an ambiance track if I click on that clear the audio type, choose ambiance. There's my ambiance ambiance track there. And the preset, from outside with some reverb. (birds chirping) There it is on. And here it is. (music playing) In this lesson, you've seen how you could utilize the essential sound panel to make some quick and easy audio enhancements.
