Hello. In today's lesson, I will explain using a real world example, an approach to processing an archetictual landscape format image using profiles, light and color adjustments, and ultimately, lens and perspective corrections to interpret the scene creatively. Here you could see the original capture and final results side by side with the final image treatment. Let's begin by adjusting the tone and color of the original image. I'll choose the edit panel as usual to add a profile and perform light and color adjustment. Browse to the profiles. And I'll choose an interpretive profile, modern seven from the many options available. The modern set of profiles, along with artistic vintage and black and white sets, allow you to preview the effect before applying it, and also set an amount to apply using the slider. So I'll choose modern seven, the amount slider pops up, and I set the slider to 158. Go back to the edit panel. And I can use the exposure slider to lighten the image just a bit overall under the light panel. I also adjust the highlight slider, making a very small minus 100 adjustment, and a more moderate shadow adjustment of plus 46 to retain important details, and just a very small amount of adjustment on the whites, plus 15. After that initial adjustment, I'll twirl up the light panel, and I move down to the color panel next, and I'm going to shift the temperature, let's shift the color temp panel slightly towards the yellow to 4687. The 10, slightly more magenta, to plus 31, vibrance to plus nine, and saturation to plus 25. Vibrance and saturation are similar, but vibrance works more gradually, saturating the most intense colors first, rather than all the color at once. I'll twirl that up, and we'll twirl down to the color mixer next. And setting it for saturation, I chose the targeted adjustment tool, and setting it for saturation I choose the targeted adjustment tool, and select a mid tone area of the stairs, to enhance the red orange of the cement work. I'll click and drag, make it more orange and more red. So I came up with plus 14 and plus 32 on the orange. Now, if I return to the targeted adjustment tool once again, I could target the shadow area of the steps down here. I'll shift them so that they're more blue and purple, and I arrived at a value, plus 47 on the blue and plus 36 on the purple, and you can see how that affects the image.
